Q: What is globaljobsfair.com and how can I benefit from it?

A: Globaljobsfair.com is one of India's leading jobsites, one roof under which job seekers and recruiters come together . Our jobsite is a major source of jobs, career advancement opportunities, and employment information helping candidates to search for jobs of their choice in India as well as abroad, track the status regarding how often they have been shortlisted by various recruiters etc. We are the most comprehensive resource for employers as well, providing them with an extensive database, benefits of searching agents and hotels to organise and conduct interviews with the candidate.

1. Job Seekers

Click on the "Register" link in the left hand side of the HomePage to go to the registration page. To become a member of our jobsite, click on "Register with us" link and fill in all the relevant details as requested in the form.

2. Employer

Click on the "Register" link in the left hand side of the HomePage to go to the registration page. To become a "Corporate Member" of our jobsite, click on "Register with us" link and fill in all the relevant details as requested in the form.

Click on the "Register" link under the heading 'For Agents' in the left hand side of the HomePage to go to the registration page and fill in all the relevant details as requested in the form.

Q: What are Featured Employers ?

Featured Employers are the member employers who have been registered with Globaljobsfair.com having the faclities to post jobs, post banner ads etc with the jobsite.

1). Facing Login Problem ?

Unable to login? All you are getting is a"Password Incorrect" message? Reason could be: you might have wrongly typed your password or you might have forgotten or changed your password. Please click on the "Forget Password" link to get your correct password through mail. You need to type your right UserName , hint question and answer. If the values are correct, your password would be mailed to you within no time.

2). How do I post a resume?

After logging in, you will find a link "Post/Edit Resumes". Clicking on this will lead you to a Resume Form. Follow the steps to post your resume. The Resume will become functional only when all the various sections are complete.

3). How can I modify my resume?

Click on "Post/Edit Resumes". You can change and modify it as and when you want it.

4).How do I search for jobs?

A: Job Search can be done either by,

  1. Clicking on "Job Search" on the top horizontal Navigation Bar to get a detailed search

    OR

  2. Clicking on "Job Search" on the bottom Navigation Bar to search for opportunities in a specific company or location.

Tip: Try a broad search and then narrow it down as you get results.

5). Can I get any additional information on a job posting other than what is listed?

A: Since employers post their own jobs, they will include only the information that they want the job seeker to have. However, we do offer information on specific companies in our "Featured Employers" where you can see the Company profile. To see details of the job posted, click on "Job Title" to see the full job description. Also, most companies have corporate web sites that you may find helpful.

6). What are Skill Details?

A: Skill Details are the list of skill sets that you are proficient in. For example, Programmer, SAP, Telecommunications, Human Resources, Marketing, ASP, Networking, MS SQL Server etc.

7). I am not getting any calls and my Track status shows ?

A: It is possible that your resume is not matching the requirements of the employer. Try updating your resume once a month to get the best results.

8). How do I Apply for a Job?

A: We have tried to make the job application procedure as simple as possible. All you have to do when you are viewing the job description page is to click on "Apply" and you will receive a confirmation message stating that you have successfully applied for the job. As simple as that! If you are not logged in, you will be taken to the log in page and then your application will be processed

2). How do I search for candidate resumes ?

A: As a registered employer, you have access to our exclusive databank of thousands of resumes. After you log in with your employer ID & Password, you will be taken to your personalised career portfolio. Click on "Search A Candidate" on the left hand side to fill in the criteria of your requirements to get the list of matching resumes. You have an option here to shortlist the candidate for any particular job posting.

3). How do I Shortlist Jobs?

A: Once you search a candidate using the Search a Candidate facility, you will see the list of resumes matching the requirements. Click on "Shortlist Candidate" and you can select the job title for which you would like to shortlist the candidate.

4). How do I post jobs online ?

A: Click on "Post A Job" on the left hand panel. In the form that appears, fill in the required fields, click on "Submit" and you will have successfully posted a job on to our site.

5). How do i modify the job already posted with the site online ?

A: Click on "Edit/Delete A Job" on the left hand panel. Click on the job code that you would like to edit and you can make changes on the details provided by you in the form. You can also delete a particular job by clicking on the Checkbox provided against the job and clicking on "Delete".

6). How do I search an Agent ?

A: Click on "Search Agent". Specify Country, Location, Experience etc. for your search to be more specific. Click on the Checkbox against the name of the Agent to add this Agent to the particular Job title so that in future, this Agent can handle the interview and short listing of candidates on behalf of the Employer who has posted the job.

7). How do I Search Hotel ?

A: Click on "Search Hotel". Specify the Country, Category etc. for your search to be more specific. Add a particular Hotel to the job title by selecting the checkbox against the Hotel name and then clicking on "Add Hotel". Once you have selected the hotel, all further interviews relating to a particular job code would be held in the Hotel selected.

8). How Do i create Template / Homepage on my own ?

A: You can either choose a template from those already provided or create one of your own.

Step 1
------

Click on "Choose Your Homepage". Select one from among the 5 templates displayed. After selecting, click on "Submit" to proceed further.

Step 2
------

Click on "Browse" and select two images to be incorporated in the template. Now click on "Submit" to upload these image files.

Step 3
------

Fill in the details to add to the template. Please fill in all the fields and submit the form. You will see new page showing the path of your template. Click on the Link to view the template. You can use this Link for future reference.

Build your own Homepage

Click on "Build your own Homepage". Please fill the Enquiry Form .Our executive will contact you .
